How to delete your browsing history
Press Ctrl+H to open Chrome's history, then use Delete browsing data for a time range, or remove entries one by one. ClearKit adds what Chrome lacks: search, per-domain grouping, and bulk deletion of every entry from a site.
Doing it manually in Chrome
- 1Press Ctrl+H (Cmd+Y on macOS) to open the History tab.
- 2Use the search box at the top if you are after specific pages.
- 3Tick the entries you want gone and choose Delete.
- 4For a full sweep, open Delete browsing data, pick a time range and tick "Browsing history".
Where the manual way falls short
- Removing everything from one site means ticking its rows one at a time — Chrome has no "delete all entries from this domain".
- There is no way to schedule it, and no summary of what your history actually contains before you wipe it.
Doing it with ClearKit
